New Owner up In Canada

Hey guys,

New Viper owner here. I have always been a fan of the car and finally was able to purchase my first one.

I remember in 1995, I was in Disneyland and was 8 years old, I remember clear as day seeing a black rt/10 crusing down the freeway while we were on the bus to San diego. It is safe to say, since that day the Viper has been one of my Favorite cars. The funny part is that I was only 8 years old and knew what a Viper was !

Fast forward to Sept 24 /2014. My very first viper was officially ordered. I ordered a Competition Blue base SRT coupe. As nice as all the options are, Im on a budget and plan on eventually doing a twin turbo setup ( Likely winter 2015 ).

Anyways , My name is Mark and its great to be a part of the community !

it took me 50 years before I could purchase my first Viper; a 2000 RT/10 Black and Black; still my favourite. Perhaps I worded that incorrectly. what I should have said is, Id rather take the extra 30k that the options would cost, and apply that towards a turbo kit. In turned keeping the overall cost slightly lower.

That being said, i have a few of 1000+ whp cars and ive built them all. I have a good buddy that does phenominal fab work ( all my cages / turbo kits ). I would say ive built them all on a " budget" rather than sending the car to a big name shop and stroking them a cheque. its likely the Viper will end up with a custom fabbed kit that we make.
