Glad to hear you could restore radio reception. BTW: How about your door speakers, have you finally made a choice and how's the fit?

what wire do I connect for the Am antenna? I get FM and the stereo works great other then the Am reception. I have none?
You need to make sure, that the antenna amp is provided with 12V. In the OEM Setup the OEM radio powers the antenna amp and there is one pin on the rectangular radio connector (not the DIN connector) for this (check the wiring diagram on the radio where it says ANT). You will have to connect that to a source providing 12V at ignition on.
In my case, as I did not want to remove the radio again, I just routed a new single wire from the fuse box under the knee bolster (driver side) to the antenna amp (which is mounted very close to the fuse box in the same area).
This is an old thread.
Does anyone have suggestions on current satellite radio options for a Gen II?
Have someone who asked. Also, any issues to be concerned with?
Thank you in advance!
