If there is a S/C in the works it would likely be for the street guys or drag race crowd, I would also be willing to bet that the developer would go to great lengths to insure heat soak was minimized.

TA 2.0 has the normal front splitters like TA 1.0 has. You can clearly see in the illustration, that there is a full-width splitter under the bumper chin. Ala ACR.

I agree Mark, just not for the ACR.

Those are extensions to the TA ones, the image for the ACR goes all the way across. so one piece design not 2 seperate parts.

True but I think he meant Full width front splitter, not the seperate splitters with the exstensions.

assuming it comes with sticker shock factor, it would totally defeat the purpose of AClubR... should call it AProR

He said it more than once. There's a video of him saying it and I posted in this thread a thumbnail photo of a Q & A where he said it. Or you can go on twitter and ask him for yourself. The point, however, is that styling and looks matter and not everything is exclusively about function and performance. Again, saying it looks good is a compliment to the car, not an insult to it.

I have spoken with him personally on more than one instance and have owned and worked on Vipers for a long time, but I'm sure you have it all figured out.

Sooooo, back to the intent of this thread, who thinks the potential ACR concept will mimick the GTS-R closely? (Six piston calipers, two piece rotors, <3000 lb curb weight or damn close and ~680hp)?

Maybe out of respect they don't call it an ACR. Leave that distinction for the prior beast. Time to move on from the past. Just call it a GT2 like the 98'. Either way, I expect Viper to make a HUGE splash at SEMA this year. As long as the parts do not come through MOPAR, then we may actually get them. Can't cancel all racing here there and the other side of the pond, to produce nothing of interest.
