    Vibration at highway speeds...

Hey guys, I notice a constant rattle/vibration comming from somewhere near the middle of the car at highway speeds. My first thought is that it is near the center console, but possibly underneath... it sounds like a loose panel not a mechanical component.

Anyone else have this? Its constant and remains while coasting out of gear at highway speeds... could it be exhaust related? (car has corsa exhaust and cat deletes by previous owner).

    Thanks

Loose belly pan is unlikely, but check it.
    Broken trans mount?
Can you feel it thru the shifter? Does that vibrate?

PS relatively rare car, only 84 of those made, and at least 2 became organ donors

I was thinking loose belly pan. It is a very tin like sound. Cant feel it through the shifter at all, its more audible than anything.

    Sent you a PM also

First put it on a hoist or jack stand go underneath for something loose , I always do a yearly inspection and always find loose screws and one time front bumper missing all the screws .If not you can start the engine to spin the wheels for mechanical vibrations.
