WOW.
What a fantastic day and nearly 500 miles added to the odometer today.
The Sunday portion of the Redline cruise was even better than Epic. With both sun and cloudds during the day the leaves in thier prime of turning colors was magical. Our firststop was the comfort Inn Hotel where we met up with the folks spending the night then off to the countryside with some very very spirited driving. Thank goodness we had a firemarshall to lead the way. A nice drive thru a local park was extemely scenic and some great shots were taken. It wa so much fun through the countryside during harvest season and the snakes were running very cool but really chewing up some pavement fast. I am not going to mention names but someone hit 158 on the backroads, WOW.
We ended up in Ames IA and went to Hickory Park to eat. We parked our cars right on the curb at the entrance and customers were loving the view.
U huge thanks goes out to Mark from IA and Josh from Crossroads for putting this together. Cheryl and a few others also assisted in getting a decent turnout for the event. We may have even picked up 3 new members as a result. A great time was had by all. Met some new folks from Iowa that are passionette about thier snakes and hope to see us again.
