Wonderful things happen when the price is right and a new horsepower benchmark is set, 2 missed targets with the Gen V release. In defense of the SRT Viper Team it is nearly impossible to design and develop a Halo car on a budget. I don't think cars like the MB AMG SLS or the Porsche 918 were designed and created on a shoe string budget.

Anyone else here order one? I'm still waiting for a VIN, ordered 9/9 (first day) from Roanoke. Would of thought Viper owners would get some credit for an allocation?

Let me re phrase that , the Plant is Top Tier in World Class standards , and has outperformed their U.S. counter parts . In the end the customer is getting great value for dollar on both price and quality . If they weren't competitive it would be built elsewhere .

Good Luck with that , The Viper Engine is Machined here in Canada and the Heads are also machined and assembled here .
Just stating the Facts , no need to get upset .

Some manufactures have chosen to go to China , I see it as a win / win by supporting each other .

I'm looking at picking one up, but saw what a messed up job SRT did with the Gen V launch... hoping to pick one up that is sitting in a dealer show room at MSRP (or less early next year). From what I've read on the Hellcat forum, if you order one now...expect to get one at the end of 2015. I don't have that kind of patience.

Gee whiz... you mean to tell me that if you put the horsepower and options in the car that the market demands, without trying to screw the customer to the wall and convince them that what you don't offer they didn't actually want anyway, that they will sell?
