Sad day for SRT Viper and ALL of us enthusiasts.

Im having a hard time dealing with the sad news announced today about the factory backed SRT Vipers. Cannot imagine how the drivers and team members feel and where they might end up.http://www.motorsport.com/tusc/news/...egrated+Feeds)

Wow, what a shame after the good news following this weekend. Really bummed I ended up missing going to Rd Atl for maybe the last Viper race.

    Vipers Dead.

Just been on the SRT website, Click on Dodge cars, not one picture of a Viper anywhere!

Remember Dodge announced they were rebranding the car as a Dodge Viper and Not SRT? Well clearly they have not applied this to the Website, How is someone supposed to buy a car if they cant see it

Writing is on the wall guys, buy your historic collector car now, brand is dead.

Clearly Chrysler has no interest in the Car anymore and does not care about Viper Fans.

My heart goes out to the Team and Drivers and to all those that had passion for the car. As for the People at the top who made this Business decision

Anyone who might actually buy one knows where to find it but they do need more visibility for a halo car...

Just went to their site at http://www.drivesrt.com/ They must have just updated the website as Vipers are there now.

But I do see what you are saying about the Dodge Site at http://www.dodge.com/en/ No Pic of the Viper. They have recently made some changes to the 2015 GT ...."•GT – new model with Nappa leather seats with Alcantara inserts, Alcantara accents on the doors and IP, ‘Viper’ badged aluminum sill plates, two-mode suspension, five-mode ESC, ‘GTS’ hood and two-piece StopTech® slotted rotors"

    Haven't seen this before today.

I went here, http://www.dodge.com/en/ The car is now a Dodge Viper, Right? SRT was dropped? So you would at least think they would have a Viper link on that page? Another marketing fail IMO

There are tons of tweets already about how pissed off people are about this whole thing. Farnbacher has his tweet thing shut down, Bomarito says Im ok for next year? Maybe another ride? And Kuno says it was a big surprise to him. Ralph took a long time to reply and his reply so far was, get this, a photo of a full pilsner beer glass. We are heading to Daytona for the 24 in Jan. but it will not be near as exciting. Go Ben I guess as he will be running next year.

What I dont understand about all of this and Im sure it has to do with finances and the costs associated with running a factory team. But Dodge also pulled out of Nascar (recently) after the deuce Dodge won the Cup championship, and GM Corvette continues to run Tudor after millions of dollars are being spent on tons of GM recalls?

Anyone have any ideas why they didn't wait a little longer to make this announcement? The timing makes me think that more bad news is just around the corner. Damn I hope I'm wrong.

Your not wrong, just look at what's going on at Ferrari. What I see is a total clean house at SRT!!

I really hope this isn't the truth... There is nothing else out there like the Viper...
