I agree with Tony, I would have spent that $3,000 elsewhere if I knew the seats were mostly leather. The $3k for a few patches of leather isn't worth it, IMHO.

The only option I wish I could add is the 18 speaker audio, but not the end of the world. But yes, no options available on the t/a.

In regard to cloth seats, I was talking to the SRT guys a couple weeks ago and they said it was done for a few reasons. It's more durable, grippy, and actually saves money over leather. It's only the insert that is cloth (they had a name for it, I forget), the rest of the seat is standard leather. They also wanted it to be different than the other cars, in addition to using orange stitching.

There is a killer document on the t/a that explains all the things that changed on the 2014 models and what is included in the t/a specifically, I need to put it on the Web so I can link it here. I'll dig it up and will share it.
Thank you for the detailed response! The TA is going to give the car a shot in the arm and hopefully will generate some highly positive reviews and interest. I look forward to seeing your cars when they arrive!!

Interestingly the T/A has gotten really good reviews, I'm happy for that.

Little FYI - SRT is currently working on a T/A review with a well known magazine... should be interesting! SRT is making sure they get a fair shake and that the Viper they use is a good example and not a beaten up car with bald tires that came from another customer who abused!

And I've dug up and uploaded the T/A document to our club server. Here's the link: http://illinoisvipers.com/documents/...Viper%20TA.pdf

This is a good document even for non-T/A owners. IT also explains the end of the track pack and how those parts are now offered in pieces to all buyers. It's a very useful document. Good reading.

Well this is a perfect opportunity to learn from their mistakes. If I were Ralph I would oversee every aspect of this cars track related time trials as well as the cars tech being spot on! This should be the exact push SRT needs with a good showing!

Really? I was told by a large dealer in the "Center of the Universe" (Ontario for all those who dont know) 2 days ago that they "highly doubt" Canada will get any TAs when i enquired on when i could order one. Needless to say i didnt persue it any farther.

    Beauty of an upload
Would you guys say that this is even more of an indication that the TA is the new ACR?

Glad to hear more are coming up North. Most dealers aren't as knowledgeable about Vipers here so I'm not surprised they're not even sure of Canadian allocation. I hope the TA sells out in record time, which will show SRT what customers are demanding, and that Gen V demand wasn't fully reflected in 2013.

I like the cloth (ballistic nylon) interior. Leather sure smell nice, but gets too hot and too cold easily when compared to cloth, and is much more breathable.

The only thing I wish the TA would come in is Shadow Blue Pearl. :P

We need a 1 of 1 Competition Blue T/A as our own raffle car if that is something we as an Association are working towards.

Now they are on the right track. What does an 18 speaker stereo weigh, get rid of it. I only turned my radio on during my test drive to make sure it worked, not a moment since. They need to scrub some weight from these things, lighter is all around better. My wife is going to not like the fact you mentioned this many coming to Roanoke, that's only an hour from me. Hopefully this is the start of good things to come for this car, less frill, more thrill. And orange to top it all off.

Ok, ill have to admit it does look good, different. Maybe a suede insert like the Gen 4's might have been more adequate but, these look better than I thought.

Getting lots of mixed reviews up here in Toronto about how many are coming up here. I heard 2 now its 6 plus some blacks and whites. Glad to hear SRT is listening and respecting us up here for our input and sales numbers. Mopar or Nocar all the way.

Supposedly 93 Orange, 33 White, and 33 Black, but as previously noted, some are going to Canada and overseas, so US numbers will be lower.
