Where to get the infamous "birdcage" clutch clip

Whats up everybody... I'm trying to find out where I can buy that retaining clip for the clutch that is famous for breaking. A popular problem, yes, but it seems people are often left with the wrong part or just end up making their own setup to solve the problem. So I'm wondering if anybody has a part number for the correct clip for a Gen II (are Gen I and II the same?)

Here is a pic of the clip for those wondering:

Is there a better clip I can buy to solve this problem (i.e. metal) or is anything else available? I know its a tiny piece but it'll leave you stranded without warning so I'd like to have a few spares like I've seen a bunch of you do. Some owners have also said their cars don't have this clip, but use a different setup instead. Was this done at the factory or did previous owners swap it out themselves?

There's a thread on this topic on one of the other forums but I know a bunch of you don't post over there. I figured it might help to post here as well.

Thanks, Jim! I'm going to order a couple now. Hopefully they're in stock.

Edit**- How are you supposed to order on that site? There's no place to enter any payment information but sending a paper check is an option? I'll have to take a closer look tomorrow but I don't see it anywhere. Weird.

Does Jon B carry these bad boys?

The bird cages give a better feel then the metal clips that come keep the after-market ratio arm for making the pedal flush with the brake pedal. The metal clips create to much friction when clipped in. Just saying...

I had mine go recently, walked to a dollar store and picked up washer and some bendable brass wire and pliers. 5 minutes and it was fixed. Non the less i did order two from local Chrysler at $6 a pop. And while putting the arrived part on, i did it wrong and broke the first one LOL. So had to use the reserve one

I've got 2 I don't need (my car has a metal clip) if anyone wants to buy them off me.

I can't seem to find the birdcage clip anywhere on my car (maybe it was changed previously?) but I ordered a couple spares anyway.

Tony, thanks for the heads up on that.. I must have just looked over it last night and went to bed haha.. I did use paypal this morning though.
