    Timing Chains

Is there any difference between Gen 2 vs Gen 3 timing chains- besides the 3 bolts ? Can you use a Gen 3 timing chain in a gen 2 to install a 3 bolt cams?

Not sure on your question but I have two brand new timing chain kits sitting here if you get stuck...

You do not want to do that. The cam position sensor step on a Gen-3 and the locator pin positions are different, as are the positioning marks as a result. You technically "could" clock it and re-mark it, but it will not be 100%, especially for an aftermarket cam. You want a Cloyes Hex-A-Just adjustable timing set. It is made for the Gen-2, and is 3-bolt/adjustable.
