Gen V seats in a Gen II?

Can Gen V seats being installed into a Gen II without too much hassle? Has anyone done it? I tried searching on here but had no luck.

Like the sound of that, I love the Ferrari 458 seats and I believe these are the same?

Might have to try a Salvage yard to see if there are any wrecked GenVs yet?

I wish I could put Gen2 seats in a GenV. Can't stand the way the GenV's press my shoulders. Wife is also uncomfortable in GenV seats. Laguna version too.

Gen 5? Short answer: NO. I suspect no one has done it, either.

Its a complicated hassle with SRT seats G3-4 into a Gen 2. And we have some nice seat pairs, and custom seat-track manufacurers, but its a pain on several points.

Gen 5 seats are narrower, but tracks are complicated and NOT compatible Gen 1-2.

And this: With all the driver-nanny aids, there are very few wrecks! Those wrecks that we have seen at auctions, are all 'rebuilders' that have not yielded any G5 parts supplies. Or seats. And MoPar sells the components, not the entire seat.

Off topic...but I'd rather have Gen 1 seats in my Gen 2!

Can the Gen II tracks be modified to attach to the Gen V seat? Or an adapter plate me made to interface between the two components?

ANYTHING is possible with funds.....But Since no one has done this, or even investigated it, id just be blowing smoke. YOU are a pioneer on this....YOU will discover the answers!

We have had an employee and customers TRY to put SRT G3-4 seats in a GTS. COMPLICATED and requires owner-fabricated custom brackets. I think we sent MTGTS to the guy who made his brackets, here in WA.

G5 seats may be powered....and the TA seat is different still...

I made my own for my Sparcos in my Gen 2. I never ran Gen 3/4 seats. That Sparco setup is now in another members car.

    72 Hemi -
I do have 2 pair of factory Gen 2 brackets if you are interested in them. They would make a great starting point of doing something custom without ruining your current ones. PM me if your interested in them
