    Gauging interest - 2001 Yellow GTS - Bolt ons / 360 Wheels

    Hello All,

I'm looking at getting into a Gen 5 and the wife will not allow 2 Vipers. Let me know if anyone on the VOA has any interest before I post on CL, AT, eBay, etc. This car has been my baby and have owned it for nearly 5 years. This is the longest that I have ever owned a sports car (normally get something different every year). The car has been in the rain 7 or 8 times, ever. It still has some of the stickers on the inner wheel wells from the factory.

I'm the 2nd owner, purchased from a retired doctor in AZ and had the car shipped to NC. Purchased at 7,200 miles bone stock and I have added all the modifications myself and done all the preventative maintenance needed on a Gen 2.

Car currently has 15,50x miles on it. Here is a short list of items, I'm sure I'm forgetting a number of things.

360 Forged Wheels - carbon fiber inlays
Big brake kit (gen 3 fronts / gen 2 rears with new rotors and new pads this summer)
    M&M headers
Random Tech hi flow cats and cat back
    Smooth tubes
Aftermarket shift handle - stock one installed now.
    Power steering vent tube
    Power Steering bracket
New Water Pump (installed shortly after purchase of car)
    Roe Clutch Mod
    MGW gas cap
    MGW interior pieces
    Aftermarket floor mats
All fluids done - diff, tranny, clutch, brakes, motor, etc
    AC serviced and ice cold
    New serpentine belt this year
New rear Nitto tires this month ($1,300) - fronts on national back order - Falkons ($450) - will add Nitto fronts as soon as they are available.
Carbon Fiber vinyl stripes - easily removed
Black side and rear decals added by me. Have a new set as well since RJ's sent me a set that had some blemishes.
I have a box full of paperwork from the original owner, video cassette, receipts, etc.

Title in hand, looking for a quick sale. $44,500 or best offer. Feel free to send me a PM and I can send you my cell phone number if you would like to talk.

    Thanks for looking!

    -Marko

(Please do not low ball me with offers for $35k. I know there are some early Gen 2's that have been sitting / neglected that are purchased at that price. This Viper is enthusiast owned and maintained. It needs nothing...just get in and drive.)

    I/2 " lowering caps
Replaced tranny and motor mounts at 13k miles

Bring your own wheels and tires and I'll knock off $3,500

I can vouch for the condition and care taken of this car. Someone is going to end up with a beautiful GTS.

Man, that's a nice car in the first pic. Looks like a pretty simple solution to me though. Replace the wife, not the car. Although that may be more expensive

Better to replace the wife with a second and possible third Viper......................

Marko, I was admiring your Viper over the weekend in Asheville - it is indeed a beautiful car. I wish I was in a position to take this off your hands as a coupe is next on the list, but I'm about to buy a new house so the timing doesn't work for me..

Thanks for the compliments. I really love the car and wish I had time to drive it more. Not selling the Jeep...it's our weekend grocery getter. As for color of the Gen 5... Looking for something not as flashy as it will be my daily driver. Billet silver? Black? Blue?

Marko...interested in selling wheels? I have a friend with a yellow GTS here in MD that might be interested. Shoot me a PM if you are...he'll have something to swap back in place that I can discuss via PM

    Ryan,

I'm not sure that I want to part with the wheels just yet... if the Viper doesn't sell here this month I plan to keep it. If the new buyer doesn't want the wheels then we can make a deal potentially. I'm waiting to see what one of the local dealers can get me as far as trade in. If I go that route, that is a possibility to sell the wheels.

    I'll keep you posted.

That GTS-R blue is nice! Really liked how it looks in person. Maybe the TA 2.0 in Competition Blue with silver stripes would look good in your garage. Saw the Stryker Purple on the web and that is hot. Thought the white skunk stripes looked nice on the purple.

Lots of great colors...Maybe see what the missus likes? Then buy what you like.

Billet silver with black wheels and carbon package looks amazing... I keep going back and forth. A sublime green Challenger Hellcat would be fun as well...

To answer some PM's, I do have the original window sticker.

Do not have the original wheels.

I don't want the SS green Gen V... (Brian has one and he lives down the street). The B/W L.E. car has been sold to one of Craig's neighbors from my understanding...

I'm still waiting to hear back from Mike on a trade in value. I should have posted my car for sale sooner, but wanted it for the Biltmore trip.

    Thanks Simms!

Not sure if you remember...we met at VOI Charlotte (you were working on your TT GTS).

    PMs replied to...

I have had the car to the drag strip 3 times...total of 12 passes, all on 20" wheels...no hard launches. Also took it to VOI in Charlotte and ran the Speedway and Autocross.

No HPDEs or any full day track events.
