Where to find OEM Cognac floor mats?

Whats up everybody... About a year ago I went on the hunt to find a set of OEM Cognac floor mats and am still empty handed. I went down to the dealer with the part number and they couldn't find a set anywhere. I checked online on various sites off and on for a while to no avail and then eventually gave up. Can anybody point me in the right direction or know of a set for sale? Any help is appreciated. I have the black Lloyd mats in now. Though they're high quality, I'd really like a set of the cognac mats. Thanks again!

Maybe give Jon B a try?

Also...while not OEM I know the Norcal Viper club was doing floow mats. I've got a set in my '01 and they are great!

Thanks Bob! I was thinking of giving Jon a shout... Maybe he'll chime in if he's got any leads as he's pretty active on here. If not I'll send him a pm and see if he knows of any. This has been bugging me forever

    No problem.

Personall I'd go with the norcal ones if you can. I think they had a cognac mat. They are a far better fit then the OEM as the mats are cut to fit the floor pan and had a non skid backing on them.

I'm pretty sure the ones from NoCal are made by Lloyd's.

I just searched some pictures of those mats and they do indeed look like Lloyd's.

I have Lloyds mats in my '96. (Not cognac)

I also thought they madero NorCal mats and was told they're not made by Lloyd's....I still have my doubts....

The OE mats for the Gen2 were material notorious for sliding and folding down under the pedals. I'd stay away from them and get the NorCal versions which are top quality, thick and don't move at all.

I don't know what the OEMs actually look like - anyone have pics? I've wondered what, if any OEM floor mats existed

I ordered these to my custom needs thru Snake-Oyl products a few years ago.
They're a sponsor here, try giving them a call. http://www.viperpartsusa.com/

    They're like 5/8" thick

VYPR, those look great! I haven't seen a cognac set of mats either. Maybe I'll search some Gen II pictures later and see if we can spot a set of originals in a car somewhere.

    The NorCal mats were NOT Lloyds;

And NorCal is currently doing only non-logo mats.

The SnakeOyl mats are as nice as it gets.......large format, plush pile, sculpted loos, custom colors.

    [Available thru PartsRack too.......]

    Oops, sorry Jon.
I didn't know you also sold them or I would have mentioned that. lol

Yes, they are top quality and in no way would you ever regret getting them.
They're too heavy to move so they stay right in place no matter what... this includes Tail of the Dragon. ha

I have a 2002 GTS with the Cognac interior, inclusive of the Cognac OEM floor mats. I hated them. They would not stay in place, even with velcro. I ended up going with a set of NORCAL mats. They also at the time, made a mat for the rear. Everything was very high quality, both in material and in fit.

The SnakeOyl mats offered by Jon B also would be a preferred choice.

I highly recommend one of the above two sources, over acquiring the OEM mats. They are nothing short of dangerous.

I've got a set of Lloyd's mats and got a set of their rubber mats for everyday driving or when I do cruises. This way I'm not going nuts over the nice mats.

I got the "Luxe" version of the mat. Nice deep pile. I have a black interior so matching is easy. They do have a wide array of tans/naturals to go with too. Got mine with Sneaky Pete.

The "Rubbertite" are the rubber mats with a well pattern on the mat. Keeps the crud in place if you do get into some nasty stuff before you drive. They wash off well with a hose.

    I can't complain

Thanks for the heads up on the mats sliding around guys. Maybe that's why they weren't in the car when I bought it lol... I'll check out some of the alternatives you all mentioned. The Lloyd mats I have are nice but I just wanted a cognac set to match a little better.
