why did they remove track package for 2014 ?


does the track package come standard on the gts now or what?

Yea I dunno what the reason was. The GTS went to the StopTech rotors standard. The SRT can't get them. Both have the wheels as an option now.
I wonder if they are trying to "force" buyers into the GTS.

The two piece Stop Tech rotors come standard on the '14 GTS, you have to order the Sidewinder II wheels and Corsa tires to complete the what Track Pack offered.

i ordered the sidewinder II and corsa tires, zoo that means i got the track package right?

i ordered a 2014 gts, carbon fiber exterior, aero kit (carbon fiber), 6 vented hood, side winders with corsa, laguna interior, 18 speaker sound system, and a red seat belt :P

I wonder how much weight is added with all the GTS fluff over the SRT TA?

I would think if youre buying a 2014 Viper SRT with the TA option would be the only way to go... I kinda see the GTS with the left over track pack parts as putting a racing stripe on a Buick...

Why buy a car built for the track and a real racing history if not to use it as it was intended?
