Yea that's kinda scary....
I like your lift btw, I'm looking for something similar.
Now that's a lot a work going on there...
Sweet photos.
That poor thing. Take good care of her!
I cant believe how corroded the steel parts of the car are.
Was that antifreeze on the floor?
It was antifreeze and some point...
The headers had three loose bolts on the left side ,Only in by 3 threads and the thermostat housing had an odd bolt.. Not sure this engine has ever been apart either ...
So far
Brake fluid replaced
Rear pads replaced
master and slave replaced
Clutch pedal bushes replaced
Full grease up
diff oil drained
Trans drained and removed
Two oil sensors on the oil filter housing replaced
Rear main oil seal removed
Heads off
Brilliant work mate! Keep it up!
Uh, um, it might have a couple of leaks...good luck!
very good to see you give this old little beast some love and attention! They deserve to be taken care of...having said that, I miss my 92 Viper a lot...that thing was brand new when I sold it...
Wow, depending on mileage, in the states, that work regimen is probably worth more than a 93.
.....

What are your plans for the heads?
How many miles are on that Viper?
Lift looks great!
Its a 100% stock April 1993 Dodge Viper not Chrysler. .
With 42k miles and back to stock build to keep it original ..
More pics to come .. started the cleaning and prepping now for the rebuild...
The Viper maybe getting on being a 93 but worth the effort to keep it on the street.. after all its a viper passion..

Good times there..
93 will be as good as new you know me .....
Few more pics
Rear main replaced and new pilot bearing
new 1996 heads
And a few random shots...

Heads came up nice, was that just Brake cleaner or something else?
Mark.... your as bad as me looking at pics but not reading the text LOL.........
Few parts all cleaned up and ready....
Looks like you're making great progress!
Are you going to pop in an IPSCO STS while the tranny is out of the Viper?
The exhaust manifold gaskets show a lot of carbon on some areas...is that typical when cast-iron manifolds were used?
How do the heads differ on the '93 vs. the '93?
