HOPEFULLY, Louisville area Viper Owners will start to arrive at Oxmoor by 9:00 AM EDT (with the Indy area folks arriving around 9:30-10:00AM. We will be greeted by Service Advisor David Price and park in a special area that will be reserved for our Vipers. David and the SRT Crew will show us around their dealership before our brief meeting...noting that he also said that there will be some door prizes and Viper related material !!

We will plan to start our BRIEF meeting by 10:30 AM as we will need to head to our lunch destination by 11:30 AM at the latest...proceeding to downtown Louisville and "The Cafe" Restaurant, 712 Brent Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40204 Phone: 502-589-9191 http://www.thecafe.ws/thecafe/main.html

The Cafe has a couple parking lots for our cars, Ron is checking on the availability of security for the meeting.
ALSO, Louisville Stoneware is just down the street, within walking distance of The Cafe, and it is open on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM EDT with a shop for us to browse and buy.

PLEASE NOTE: The Indy area convoy will depart from Champion CJDR (4505 WEST 96th St, Indy) at 7:45 AM EDT...taking I-465 WEST, then SOUTH to exit 20 where we will pick I-65 to Louisville. My "local scouts" who commute daily to Louisville have assured me that the Kennedy Bridge ( I-65 ) construction will slow us only slightly on a Saturday morning. If there is a long traffic jam, we can take I-265 WEST to I-64, then go across the Ohio River on the I-64 bridge in New Albany, then East to our destination via I-64 to I-71, and exit I-71 at Exit 2...Zorn Ave. Heading SOUTH on Zorn Ave. which becomes Hillcrest Ave...continuing SOUTH to Frankfort Ave( US 60 ), then EAST on Frankfort Ave. which becomes Shelbyville Rd. (still US 60 ) to Oxmoor CJDR.

Greater Louisville Area Viper Owners: Oxmoor CJDR is again reaching out to us. Members who have had work done there are extremely happy with this SRT dealership and their professional staff. This is a great opportunity to meet these folks and arrange for future service for your Viper!!

It's TIME TO STEP UP AND SHOW UP...ALL Viper Owners are welcome to join us for ALL these activities !!!

    Questions??? If so, CALL me.

Steve Fess, Membership coordinator, VOA IN/KY Region, Inc.

The weather on Saturday should be fine for this event...Indy Area "Partly cloudy, AM low 43, PM high 64" and Louisville Area "Partly cloudy, PM high 70".

REMEMBER: Cool temps mean MORE horsepower and LESS traction !!!

P.S. You MIGHT want to take your checkbook with you to Oxmoor as they have a couple of NICE Vipers in the showroom !!!

Great turnout at this event...11 Vipers in the front of Oxmoor CJDR, two beautiful 2014 GTS Vipers in show room, very friendly staff at a really nice facility!! Thanks are owed to the SRT Team at Oxmoor for their hospitality and, another thanks for the door prizes.

The trip to The Cafe was well worth it...we really enjoyed the food and the time to visit with good friends.

The Louisville Stoneware Company was a great addition to this trip. SPECIAL THANKS to their staff for allowing our Vipers to "take over" their parking lot !!

Finally, a BIG THANK YOU to Ron and Barb K. for their tireless efforts and multiple scouting trips to these sites in order to make this happen !!!
