cool project you've got there, after looking into the PH thread...you got some skills, turned out to be a proper GEN 1-3,5 or something like that, I like it...I only think I would have chosen an other route for the dash panel, doesn't look as detailed build as the exterior does.
Great job! looks just like a comp coupe inside and out. What year was the frame of the car? It does not look like a Gen 1 1992-1995 frame to me.
Great build. Looking at your pistonheads pics, it looks like you could have turned this snake into any car on the planet, it's all custom. At least it's still a Viper
Good to see you posting here Colin I had thought about posting your PH Link earlier but did not want to steal your thunder
Hope to see the car close up at some point
Pretty damn amazing if you ask me. I am blown away at the amount of work done and the quality. Definitely a labor of love.
I agree the interior could get a couple of touches to complete the look while still being minimal. Felt shifter boot???? could probably get a piece of alcantara to finish that off. Or just regular old leather. I'm not knocking anything, just sharing a thought. I really have nothing but respect for the build. I love the toggle switches. I was going to do that for my Gen II cause I think there is nothing cooler than hopping in and turning on your systems one by one.
Man I bet you could do some great, and I mean out of this world, work on hot rods. Do a chop on an old car and custom fab a top, or widen an old car out with some custom fenders. Custom fab a dash that looks old with a new twist and add a center console. and I bet you would find that easy compared to this project. The sky is the limit with your talent.
Hey, just a suggestion...with Lemke focusing on his new boutique supercar, there is a void for quality tops for Gen I and II RT/10 guys. ESPECIALLY if it was foldable or snapped into 3 pieces to fit in the trunk and still allow them a bit of cargo room. I would think you wouldn't be able to fill orders fast enough.
Congrats on the build.

Really cool build, you got some skills.
Looks awesome, got some talent there!!!
Seen the Gen 1 comp coupe in person and have to say its a great job . The hours into the little details are endless. Colin was saying its not quite finished but looking real good so far....
Better options for rims as well...
Holy crap that's a lot of work! Looks good!
That is a man with determination, very nice work.
Awesome! First thing I saw was the photo and thought Comp Coupe.
Thanks for all the comments, it has been fun, i really enjoy the designing and fabrication,
It is a 94 chassis that i have modified slightly .
Yes the interior has to get some finishing. I tried my hardest to get it all finished before i took it to the Silverstone classic, but had a few last minute issues that took longer to fix, therefor some small areas never got finished
My next project is a one off 32 Ford hot rod, built from ground up
Wow amazing!!!! Very impressed, awesome project.
I love it. I wish I had that talent. I saw something like this years ago in the mustang world, but it was a Fox body morphed with a SN95 model. Great work man
That is pretty bad ass man!!
Damn Colin! That is absolutely bad ass!
Where did he cut the 2.5 inches out of the wheelbase between Gen I vs Gen III body?
All I can say is WOW!!!!!
Great work! Looks amazing!!! Wish I could do stuff like that. Definitely a Viper to be proud of!!!!
Hi all, thanks for all the kind comments. It has been a labour of love. Thousands of hours. But it was fun.... most of the time
Yes all the bodywork was custom made by me to suit the GEN1 chassis. The only thing i changed was the track width both front and back to suit the Comp coupe wider track.
I have hundreds of photographs of the build, if there is any specific area you would like to see, i can try post some
