Austin would be awesome, for a lot more reasons than just COTA.

Not to be a downer but the club simply can't afford to rent the track out at $35k/day. I've also heard the staff at the track is not the most friendly or accommodating.

TWS or similar would make more sense financially

Harris Hill is also in the area, and where we run during the zone events. TWS is a bit of a haul from Austin.

Lots of us spend $350 to $500 for track days so individuals could help the club out if we really wanted a track to use. But we don't need a track to have a VOI and there are other things to do in Austin. But there are other cities with tracks if that is a requirement. We could have a VOI around the NARRA Viper Cup or the ALMS series - or whatever it will be called next year. And regardless of whether we have a track or not, we don't need to have a VOI that costs $1500+ per couple before you have even paid for a room. Just sayin'.

We are working on a little something already. Between the west coast, midwest, and east coast, we have been working 24/7 for about 7 weeks on getting the new VOA up and running.

Once we get past Nov 18th and catch our breath we can get some real work done on a "VOI" type of event.

Keep the ideas and suggestions coming!

Vote for Orlando (Sebring), Chicago or Detroit. But the main thing is to get SRT involved and be a true Viper Invitational and not limited to a club event.

    Here is a thought............

Make 2 VOI's. One in the north end of the continent during the summer months, and one in the southern states (ones with good weather) for the winter months that us unfortunate ones get. That way you can give more options to people that can't make one or the other and for those that can make both, bonus.
keep us northerner's in mind as well. We love to enjoy our Vipers and cruise them to the event. A 8-10 hour trip is reasonable where as a 2 or 3 day drive is unreachable. Giving us those options will involve everyone and lets everyone enjoy the Viper that day and not just the beer and food.
So on that note, one every year alternating between north and south would be very accommodating and refreshing instead of every 2 years.

    Any votes ??

    Bring it back to Nashville!
I believe it was the largest of all VOI's?

Ya know - I think anything is possible (annual, 2 locations in one year, etc) because we will DELEGATE and have committees and WILL be taking people up on offers of help. These things are a big deal to plan - and they'd have to be reasonable "self funding"- but if they proved to be wanted more often - why not?

While we have a lot of collective experience but not a lot of major NATIONAL event experience as that was kept pretty close to the vest in years prior. So - let's see where this crazy ride takes us!

I'll throw in a vote for two locations in one year.

Janni, it is refreshing for the members to be listened to by the VOA board, thank you! You guys are off to a great start, and on Monday I will be proud to become a VOA Charter Member.

    We're listening.

WHen we launch - and if you need to contact us, we're here, on this site (some more than others), out emails are accessible and all "driveviper.com", we have extensions on our phone systems for messages, and - I think we'll be doing an Officers chat live.

There are SO MANY good, smart, talented Viper owners - we'd be foolish to ignore the wealth of opportunity we have to tap into that.

Does that pizza come with pepperoni? If so expect the members to shell out and extra $50 bucks per slice. lmao

I would call it VOAI Viper Owners Association Invitational The first one should be in Detroit. South FL/ FL Keys gets my vote.

200 Vipers headed down to Key West at the same time should be a blast and it'll be a whole lot cheaper than renting a track for the time being. Just say'n.

If there's one "VOI", "Rendezvous" or whatever it is called,...........................I'm going.

If there's two, one in the north, one in the south..........................................I'm going to both.

If there's three, one in the north, one in the south and one in the midwest......I'm going to all three.

Those that have been to a VOI or similar event I'm sure will agree, there's nothing better than an
    ALL VIPER get together..!!!

Thanks VOA for bringing new life for us Viper owners....
