What is the possibility of the VOA and members in the future of having a VOI or will that still be an event just with the VCA? Thanks

Chances?
I attended several events of the IL Viperclub in the past - like Niagara or Mackinac. They have the people and experience.
>> 100 cars in attendance.
Therefore, I expect that the VOA is organizing something like 'VOI', may be under a new - different name - in the near future.
The old club will be (is) very short on funds - may be too short to manage a big event...IMHO.
A smaller version of VOI in Detroit would be great with so many things locally to see and do , and also showing our support for Team Viper and Chrysler !
+1 for Detroit. It would be great to have a "Reboot" of a Viper organization visit the factory, etc.
Detroit might be close to CAAP, but the rest?
Have been to all 6 VOIs since Nashville 2002 and the best were Nashville 2002, Las Vegas 2006, Dallas 2004, ...............................Detroit.
The drive to and from is part of the FUN. The longer, the better!
It would be great to have it at a place like Road America.

It would be close to the IL Viperclub.
How about Toronto Canada.....All in favor say EH !!
How about Kansas Lol
Anywhere we can connect with SRT works for me! As a new club, I think it's important we have their support.
As a few mentioned, we had a trip a few yrs. ago that was great!.....Detroit-to-Niagara Falls was an awsome trip (IL club)... went to Ralphs's house, visited a few 'secret' places he set up for us, then went to Niagara Falls the next day. Cost to register was minimal (<$100)+you were on your own for hotel (group rate), food, etc. Alex (IL Pres.) set it all up, he did a fantastic job!
Detroit seems to be the logical place to tie the knot with Chrysler/SRT again. Chelsea Proving Ground, CAAP, Viper Cafe.....
Discussions are already in the works for doing a "Return to Detroit" event. It's just as much an homage to the car, as it is to a renewed relationship with SRT that welcomes us back in. The plan is to have it this year...
As for VOI, it's completely the groups intent to have VOI type of events. You can bet on it. We've already been yapping about it. As soon as we finish with the last big pieces that are being put in place and going live, that type of stuff will be fun to talk about. We have many people with assembling large events and I myself enjoy putting on large groups gathering. Can't wait to work on things like that.
We'll likely have a committee for planning for VOI (I've always pushed for that, but never got it). We'll also solicit input from folks on locations (needs to have good track, good roads, generally an interesting area, and host hotel that can accommodate the size of the group).
All fun topics.
2013? or 2014?
I know things may be a bit of a blur, that's why I am double checking.
Yeah... in my mind 13 over. Yes, 2014.
And yes, would be a warm season event...
Just putting a bug in someone's ear.......NIAGARA 2016-2017!!! We will have the track, and we definitely have the facilities to host large groups.
The VCA only has 3-4 chapters left. I'm sure all 50 owners can get together for a pizza party in Kansas. Maybe get a tour (for a fee of course) of the VPA warehouse so they can see all the parts SRT donated to help the VCA support itself.
Damn that's cold! But mostly true and funny.
Just so everyone can get their feet on the ground, all of this IS planned, but we'll just need a few more days to actually open club registration. What's it been, 7 weeks? LOL
This is like "paint the Mona Lisa again ... I need it delivered in 2 months".
Still nice to set some goals.
