I'm glad the Hellcats were there. Thank you Dodge. It was cool to see under the hood, hear it start take pics etc.
The people at the Museum got a kick out of it. It had a crowd around it most of the night with the Vipers just kinda glanced over. It was a nice break from the sea of Vipers.

Same here, I was hoping they would have one for us to drive...

This is a low resolution of the picture. Stay tuned.....

I can assure you the photographer (Maurice) knew what he was doing.

I'm gonna agree with Flatout here. And, just me personally, if Dodge wants to keep shoving the rolling chicane aka the Challenger down our throats, my money can just as easily be spent elsewhere.

When you display it prominently inside a halo in the official Viper Owners photo, at the Viper Homecoming. Yeah that's cramming it down my throat. I don't give a shit about 4,300lb 700hp land barges, this is a Viper Owners Club. You want to talk about your mullet mobile, parked next to your tornado bait double wide, take it to the other rides section.

You mad bro. VOA took the picture at that angle, not dodge. Maybe it's because I'm a Mopar guy who enjoys other great performing products, but it's just not that big of a deal.

LoL I thought that would make you smile a little. And you're right, you're a Mopar guy, I'm not. Viper is the only performance model Dodge has ever made that I would own, and I have owned three. If I was in the pony car market I'd be a new Z28 buyer, not a Challenger buyer, in the performance sedan market I'm a CTSV guy all day, maybe an AMG car. SUV's I like Tahoes.

We really should photoshop Joe Dirts head inside that sculpture though for any sort of hi res photo release.

Maurice took the photos. How is Dodge cramming it down your throat?
    It's a photo.
The Viper owners enjoyed checking the car over. That car had the most photos taken out of any car at the Museum. No doubt.

So was it Maurice's idea or Dodges? Couldn't tell based on the below comment.

And it's not an issue of it being there to check out, drive or photograph just think its odd that its the centerpiece of a Viper photo.

Chrysler supports the VOA, we support Chrysler.

    It's as simple as that.

The picture was taken from a Genie lift, so I'm sure if Maurice didn't like the angle/picture view he could have drove it around for a different angle.

That I do not know. Brian Kennedy (Carolina's President) set up the picture. Chrysler brought the car over so I guess they may have felt obligated to put it on the picture. I don't know. I was too tired knowing that I had to drive back to Dayton after the dinner. LOL

I too wasn't sure about the Challenger being in the picture. I was just glad we had all our friends there to take a picture.

I didn't mean to cause a problem with posting the picture. It was more about the VOA. To some of us that really may not have much of a family, these pictures mean more than the cars.

Hey! What's with all the mullet bashing around here? What did the mullet ever do to you besides provide you with possibly the greatest generation of music ever and if you had one in the 80s and 90s you had your pick of women in that trailer park. And I will be damned if I am gonna stand by listen to people bad mouth Joe Dirt! "You gotta keep on keepin on. Life's a garden, Dig it." --Joe Dirt

Ok, ok.....this should help clear things up a bit.

Just got a PM from Chrysler brass and they want to clarify this situation. The round sculpture showcasing the Hellcat in no way means "Halo" to them.......they prefer the term "Glory Hole".

There, that should make things better.

    Carry on.

It was no big deal to me having the 707HP Hellcat there., obviously it would have been better seeing a G5 ACR though.. Like most of us I'm guessing, I just wanted to fire it up and lay a wicked posi in the museum parking lot..

I'll be in the market for the Hellcat Charger or Hellcat 300 when available.. So I guess SRT's marketing may be working on our family's future purchase?

Although I thought it was strange my "aggressive" comments were meant to be somewhat tongue in cheek.

If we're going Joe Dirt, then let's just photoshop Jaime Pressly and Brittany Daniel in, and be done with it. I think we could ALL agree on that!

By the way, I've seen a new Z28 in person at a couple local shows - it is an impressive car, no doubt, and as much of a Mopar guy that I am, if were about about to drop 75 large, and we going to primarily track the car, I think the Z28 would be a winner.

Great movie, for so many reasons: Mopars, Jaime Pressly, and Brittany Daniel - what's not to like!

" in the world.
Looks like you have a gen 3. Dunno your take on the new gen 5, but it has a really nice soft clutch and is very easy on the knees.

It was difficult for some to find the car with all the Vipers there, so we circled it for ya...
