Hi everyone my name is John and I am one of the owners of JTM Motorsports, I spent some time with some of you at the cruise to Oaklands. I would like to personally invite everybody to the shop and check out the facility! We are located in the same facility as American Racing Headers, we will be giving tours of the ARH facility as well. We have a state of the art mustang AWD Chassis dyno capable of handling 3000hp!! A few of the members have already been by the shop and have experienced our services. We welcome all members whether they want to participate in the dyno or not, we also welcome all makes and models since we know members may own multiple cars!

You don't have to go on the dyno. There's plenty to see at JTM.

The dyno will show you alot,my basically stock GTS 97 made 412 hp rwhp,and I was plenty happy with that! Remember it's not a T/F Dragster;you bought it to drive for the long run. Have fun with the people and the car; you can always improve the numbers with mods. Good luck on the dyno, "smoke em if you got em"

Rosie is spot on. The bench racers will always be disappointed on the dyno. Rather than see it has a "heart breaker" simply use this opportunity to baseline your Viper so that when you make modifications (headers, exhaust, rockers, twin turbo chargers, etc.) you can determine what the mods contribute to your baseline numbers. Plus, if you've never had your Viper on a dyno before it's pretty cool to be right next to it as they take up to near-redline. How often do you get to hear your exhaust at peak RPM while standing next to it? LOL.

Yes, those are all good points. Put me down for the Dyno runs as well. Probably a good idea to get a baseline since I just bought this thing. I wanted my next mod to be a tune anyway.

haha Tony - all true, although I was making a Mustang Dyno joke with the "heartbreaker" comment. You'll get a nice honest number.. not a rolling-downhill unloaded optimistic HP number like other dynos may provide.
