Everyone see Janni at the VOA Store!
If you were not able to attend the VOA Homecoming.....fear not! The VOA Store will be online as a section on this website! Items offered at Homecoming will be offered right here. Please give us a couple weeks to get it online after the event. If we run out of something at Homecoming, we'll get it back in stock!
We've changed gears at the VOA concerning the goods sold as compared to years ago. These items are of the highest quality. The apparel is stunning. Mens and Womens sizes. No more bowling shirts. Apparel you would be proud to wear for a night out on the town.
Great photos Randall! Than you for taking the time to post these pics.
Great.
Love the banner! "for More information Visit DriveViper.com! yeah!
Thanks for posting Randall!
Thanks for posting Randall.... Wish we could have made it, so this is great and to see some familiar faces is a bonus.
Thanks for posting up pics for the ones that couldn't make it. I'm still kicking myself for not being able to be there. Arrrrrrrrrrr
So who won the car???????????????????????????????????
Find out later tonight when they giveaway the door prize
oh,,, for some reason I thought it was Saturday nite,,,,, good luck to all
So while we were waiting in London, Ohio to draw the door prize.... the Mayor and the Police Chief had a little talk with me about a possible VOA Viper event for next year.
The Cobra club for the last 6 years has been doing an event in London, Ohio. One part of the event is in the video below. Last night the London Mayor and London Police Chief talked about the VOA doing a similar event. The highlight of the Cobra event is the police block off the main road (1/8 mile long stretch) as you are coming into downtown London and let the Cobra guys run full out. The Cobra guys give rides for charity.
The folks in London, Ohio know how to attract car clubs.

Another smashing event this year. What an awesome time. I will get pics on my website in the next few days I hope.
Bruce
Any more pics of the Viper Cafe? Curious to know if the "hall of fame" list is still there.
Thanks for the sharing the pictures - it's been great to follow along these past couple of days for those of us who couldn't attend.
I'm very excited to hear that the online store is coming soon..
Some pics from the London, Ohio "party" on Sunday! LOL
VOA Social Media Director Bob Bierman and myself at the Council Chambers
Bob and I got there Sunday afternoon so Bob(in London) and Alex (in Auburn Hills) could get the audio/video set-up and tested. We also got all the ticket stubs on display and video taped the them for our records.
Even the Catholic Church in London was kind enough to loan us their ticket tumbler.
Unfortunately, it wasn't all fun and games. VCA members posting on our VOA website (as well as other Viper websites) admittedly contacted the Michigan Attorney General's office questioning our door prize. VCA Officers also questioned our door prize openly on the forums. What a shame.
The Michgan Police had an officer from their Michigan gaming commission in the ballroom Sunday night. He had also talked to Maurice on Friday. Maurice told him exactly what we were doing. He was there to witness that the drawing was indeed drawn in Ohio. He was following an "anonymous" tip that there was an "illegal raffle" going on. LOL He said the Michigan Attorney General was fine with how we were handling it, but wanted to witness the drawing of the ticket from the big screen if the "anonymous" complainer questioned them.
The Michigan gaming commission officer also emailed the London, Ohio Chief of Police this morning to make sure that was actually him in the live video stream from the London City Council Chambers. We got confirmation of that this morning.
So, the naysayers should have had a little more faith that we know what we are doing. Do people think that we would be stupid enough to not check everything out with the proper authorities in Michigan and Ohio before we spent over $100,000 on a car for a door prize? LOL The Ohio Attorney Generals office told us to make sure that the door prize was delivered to the winner in a timely manner. ViperTony won the Viper and he took care of the paperwork this morning at Golling's Chrysler. His new GenV Viper will be delivered to him in CT in a couple of days.
The drawing was witnessed by over 500 VOA members and their guests as well as the Mayor of London, Ohio (Mayor for 23 years and who drew the ticket), the London Police Chief, Bridgett from VOA HQ, Tim Wilson VOA HQ/Printer, Bob Bierman, and myself. All of this was watched live.
We have received nothing but compliments from members about how the televised portion of the drawing went. All attendees' ticket stubs were on tables for everyone at the Marriott ballroom to see, they even watched us put the tickets in the basket. And as I was turning the drum (loaned to us by the Catholic church in London) people in the ballroom were on pins and needles. Alex and Bob did a superb job of getting the video transmission and the audio so everyone in the ballroom could see and hear everything that was going on in London, Ohio. The large screen in the ballroom, as well as the audio going through the entire speaker system in the ballroom was perfect. Everyone was laughing and having a great time with it. And Maurice's comments to everyone about the process we went through and about the naysayers on the "illegal raffle" was hysterical. Everyone was howling. LOL

Well done to all involved, transparency is what makes this a Great Club.

Absolutely pathetic..
Sadly I wasn't able to attend the Homecoming but followed closely the forum and social media posts. Congrats to the VOA team who put everything together for the VOA-specific activities - looks like a job well done! Thanks also goes to Dodge/SRT for opening their doors for those lucky enough to attend!
Rather ironic isn't it? - Where were all the vca citizen police fanatics at the last ... umm... raffle car?
Great job guys.
Might as well just buy a tumbler so ya don't need to borrow it anymore.
