Hey everyone, I love the hell out of my viper but I am not a fan of wheel gap. Im wondering if anyone has had any success or tips on how to lower the dynamic suspension on the ACR. I know my shocks are leaking and I have plans to rebuild them thanks to Mopar Boy!
Any suggestions or success story's out there?

I never changed ride height; but, pretty easy. I seem to remember folks saying that there should be a "rake" to the ride height; but don't remember what the difference between front and rear should be. If you don't have the manual, see attached below. Look for it and the tools in the pocket on the back side of the passenger or driver's seat, if it has survived there. The other common recommendation is to replace the stock 1100? pound rear springs with 850? pound springs to fix ride problems. Definitely worth it if it hasn't been done yet. The DSI OE shocks on your 2000.5 - 02 ACR are EASILY adjustable! Threaded collars turn up - down (you want DOWN!) when the car is jacked up, suspension relaxed. Can even be done on the ground, but the adjuster wrench is needed. {PartsRack have them at $30]
Measure ride-height corner clearances before you begin, and MAINTAIN some Rake (rear end higher by about .5-.7")
Since you mentioned that the shocks are leaking, remember that suspension travel will be exaggerated, so DONT slam the car and ris repeated bottoming out.
As AZTVR noted, the car is significantly over-sprung at the rear for street use. Buck-Board, bone-jarring stiff at rear. Can be dangerous on washboard downhills. REALLY. Change the 2000.5 - 2002 rear springs! PartsRack has em from OEM mfr, in OEM color, but at civilized rates compatible with fronts.

The 99-2000.5 ACRs did not have DSI Coilovers..... they have KONI. The 'rattler' springs were an excellent rating/match, do not need changing at rear......and the ride-height process is the same...
When Konis get 'light' on whoop-de-doos, the springs would rattle. Owners bitched. (or zip-tied them to a perch!)
So Team Viper made the ill-fated choice to use expensive, problematic DSIs mid year 2000+
