Oil deal for folks in N. Raleigh

The Walmart near Triangle Town Center has the 5 qt jugs of Mobil1 0W-40 for $22.66. They have plenty in stock.

Does your local WM carry the 0W-40? Seems like it is hit-and-miss up here.

I only use Schaffers Oil in the Viper. The question is how often should I change it with a 8 quart system....

Currently 1 year and 3,000 miles on the current oil. I do anticipate adding another 2,000 miles to the car on the trip to Detroit and back. Change or not to change, that is the question.

You could send a sample of your oil in for analysis and see what condition the oil is in.
