    Plug Wires

Quick question, I have one bad plug wire. Do I replace the entire set or try to find just the one plug wire for the faulty one?

    Thanks,

    Replace the whole set.

They get old and if they are original I would also replace them all.

That being said if you choose not too I have a broken up set I may be able to help you out with just the one.

    Thanks,
Just make the change to the best. Contact Adam. Worth the investment. Not that Mark's offer isn't very generous.

I have a set of blue Mopar performance wires I pulled off because I didn't want the blue under the hood. You can have 'em for $10 plus the shipping and decide whether you want to do the whole thing, or just replace the one - shoot me a PM

Just curious, how did you determine that you have one bad plug wire? Thanks.

A little trial and error. Swapped out wire, ran fine, swapped back and misfire!

Gotcha. Your first post made it sound as if you weren't sure what plug was misfiring. I'd replace the entire set. You can get a set of Mopar wires for about $100.

How many miles do you have on your Viper?

Thanks. My Viper is a 2001 with just over 14k miles on her, so swapping out the wires probably makes sense to go ahead and get done. I have a set of OEM wires (Mopar wires are now coming out of jolly old Mexico) that have been waiting for me to get motivated (read: find time).

I just changed mine, car had old msd wires. Archer recommended oem, they have done some research on their cars and oem wires work best.
