    Dodge Charger 2016 running a SC 6.2L?

The first look at a production-spec prototype for the next Dodge Charger SRT8, running camouflaged on the streets of Detroit. The prototype allows a good feel for how the SRT's aggressive design touches will be applied to its new front fascia. It sports a deeper front air dam, a jutting chin spoiler up front and deeper-breathing front air intakes. There is also a glimpse of the Charger's new air duct on its hood, likely styled after the overhauled ’15 Challenger SRT. Meaty wheels and tires, and beefy twin exhausts round out the package at the rear.

Judging from the rumor mill and from Fiat Chrysler's very own image laying out the company's five-year model plan. The graphic shows the same engine specs for the upcoming Charger SRT "RWD S/C V8." It's uncertain whether this particular prototype was running the Hellcat engine or the standard Hemi 392 engine, but it certainly looked and sounded formidable as it hustled back to the safety of its engineering lab.

Correct, the Hellcat will be available in the Charger as well.

Does anyone know if the 300c is getting the hellcat engine?

It is not. In fact, I read the 300 SRT is going away completely. Not a good seller anymore. I NEVER see one except at shows. Sad news if true, because its a nice car.

Yes...300 and Jeep are going away. Dart and a Journey type SRT will replace.

FWIW, I have been hearing conflicting reports on the Jeep's demise. It doesn't have the same reason as the 300 because its a good seller, so I'm inclined to think its staying?

According to Allpar Jeep SRT will continue but 300 will not.

Kinda torn on this issue. The more the HP wars continue and these motors are mainstream the better it is for us...on the other hand, the less significant it makes the Vipers current power output.
