Yuengling brewery tour and then lunch August 9th

Come tour the site of America's Oldest Brewery. Discover the hand-dug fermentation caves that were used for storage before refrigeration. Wander through time and enjoy a taste of living history in a building that has produced fine beers through times of peace, prosperity, upheaval and world war.

PROPER SHOES REQUIRED! COMPLETELY CLOSED SHOES MUST BE WORN DURING TOUR.

Tours last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.

All ages are welcome. A valid ID is required to sample Yuengling products at the end of the tour. There is soda available for those under the age of 21 and visitors who prefer non-alcoholic beverages.

All tour visitors must wear completely closed shoes. No sandals, flip flops, clogs, Crocs, anything with openings around your foot is unacceptable, must be a completely closed shoe.

    Pets are not permitted.

Photographs are allowed. Video cameras, recorders or cell phones are permitted.

Unfortunately, due to the age of the facility, the building is not handicapped accessible.

Tourists are required to go up and down approximately 120 steps while on the tour. It is important for tourists with health problems to be aware of this when deciding to tour the facility. The steps are not all in the same building, and there are breaks along the way.

We will be meeting at 7:30 AM and we will be leaving at 8:00 AM sharp from the Courtyard Marriott 600 Manor Rd, Coatesville, PA 19320 We need to RSVP to the brewery to ensure the private tour by 8/1/2014.

The brewery tour will begin at 10:00 AM if you would like to meet us at the brewery. The address is 501 Mahantongo St, Pottsville, PA 17901.
