    Generally 300-500 miles of normal driving then fluid change before is what I suggest.

    I always do on my own to look for abnormal metal content in the fluid, but it may be over kill that's just how I am because I know I'm going to be hard on it after that lol.

    Break-in is two or three one hour cool downs after 30 min of light throttle driving, preferably, no deaccel.

    I beleve Unitrax has break-in
    Instructions on their site.

    I changed fluid at 1000 MI and it was dark.

    Also worth noting for those concerned about break in times, REM finishing drastically reduces if not eliminates the need for break in miles as well as frees up a bit of power and allows the gears to run cooler. I'll be doing the REM ISF finish on my 3.55's soon.
