What is better than one Viper?

    How about two!

Got to meet up with Bruce H and his lovely wife and grab some food this last weekend. I must say, I've never been big on black cars but the TA in Black just looks mean.

The seat is MUCH lower in the TA compared to my SRT - prob a good 1.5'' of extra headspace.

you also may have the seat pump lever that jacks the seat up and down?

Never knew this about the seats. So, now even taller shoppers have nothing to complain about, if they get a TA?

I know this has been posted...

But wanted to ensure everyone knows about the 13's having the spacers on the seat rails that are worth about 1-1.5" drop when you remove them?

I still come across people that haven't removed them.

TA's look great in any color!

I have a 14 SRT & have sat in a 14 TA at a dealer. I'm 6-1 & there was no difference to me? You must have spacers or something is holding up..

Thanks Harold...it was great meeting you. We noted I had 4 fingers of space over my head in mine compared to 2 in yours. There was a thread a couple of weeks ago where someone who owns and tracks both an SRT and TA commented on the extra head room in the TA also. I wonder if the difference is whether the SRT seat is covered in ballistic nylon (TA) or the leather option like yours, or whether it's the actual seat and/or rails, but there definitely is a noticable difference somewhere.

I did like the sound of your Corsa exhaust, and it'd be interesting to see how it affects power in a dyno or strip comparison. Same with headers and Mopar/after-market tunes.

I have both a TA and a '13 SRT, have them both set at their lowest settings and I don't see any difference in the heights. Wish they both went a little lower.

Looked into the spacer thing like Voice of Reason said. I looked when I first got the car and didn't see the spacers. Put my phone on video record and shoved it down there, they do exist in the Gen V SRT '13s

Sits so low now, love it.

At 5' 7-1/2" (and yes, when you're short like me, the 1/2" matters to my ego, LOL), I don't find the need to lower my seat. What are you guys talking about? Haha!

With spacers removed, can you still adjust the seat like normal (forward/backward, etc.)?

I didn't need the extra space either Todd... I might remove them just so the seat moves up and down more...

a wrench, you just need a small tug to loosen them and then they just twist out with your hand.

yes, they simply (for whatever reason) prevent the seat from going down all the way.
