Awesome day today. I had a great time. Thank you to all that were involved in organizing this event. Special thanks to Steve for keeping everything running smooth and safe and of course the ride around the track!

Had a great time and thanks to all the hard workers at the event.

I recommend an event like this to all viper owners. I learned so much about the car and how it handles. How hard you can push the car. It is a very different beast than any of the other sports cars I have driven.

Plus how bad the run flats are.

Agreed! That was really fun and would do it again in a heartbeat. It certainly gave me a better feel for the car in safe environment.

Thanks all for putting that together and I look forward to the next opportunity.

Thanks to Steve (ACR Steve) for spending the day instructing us on how to get the most out of our Vipers. Steve tirelessly spent the day instructing, advising, giving rides, riding along, etc. And when he wasn't supervising he was showing us how it's done in his ACR. Thanks to Ed and Courtney for managing the event and special thanks to Ryan @ Limerock for helping make this happen. We're looking forward to returning next year. Though it pains for me to write this.....kudos to Chuck for demonstrating that a stock Red Viper + talent = great times on the auto cross. Chuck was smooth as silk out there yesterday!

Forgot to add, we're going to submit an article on our event to Viper Magazine. If you have pictures you'd like to see in the article please post them. We need to get the article in ASAP. Thanks ! - Tony

A big Thanks to Steve for putting on this great fun event again. Steve is a great driver and instructor, and is happy to share his knowledge. Thanks to Ed and Courtney for all their help and support and the cone! Had a blast, slipping sliding and spinning! It amazes me how Chuck can get his Gen 1 to go so fast. Great job Chuck! It always a pleasure to hang out with our neighboring club. Lots of good people.
Tony, Congrats on winning the New Car. Hope it arrives soon. And a special note to Steve (ACR) for setting the Fastest Lap for the Lime Rock Auto-X competition! Steve has more than qualified for the Auto-X shootout later this year. Great Job Steve.

Pony, Thanks for posting those! I didn't break out the still-camera at all yesterday - we'll need those stills for the Quarterly and the 2015 calendar project :-)

Glad everyone had such a great time, and congrats to Tim and Steve for winning their winning times! Coming soon - official time sheets from our timekeeper, and some videos from the day.

    What great day, Thanks everyone

Big thank to the board for allowing this event to happen. Special thanks to Ed, Courtney , Tony and chuck for helping me out at the event. Without you guys we all could have as much fun

Biggest thanks to everyone that came out to participate and watch. It’s all of you that make it worth it.

Some special awards should go out :

1st- to Tim for kicking my butt in the full course auto-x . You did an amazing job my friend, it was very slippery out there and you handled the car amazingly.
2-rd - Viper Tony for his amazing 3 plus spins (not sure if you had 4 but you were due for another  ) That is a new auto-x record my friend
3rd- Big Bill for finishing in 3rd only losing to 2 ACR’s with his 02” Final addition great job
4th- Ed and his amazing donuts at the skid pad- (way to release that pent up energy  )
5th- to everyone who participated and drove amazingly – I don’t think we had anyone drive 4 off, no car damage, learned something about our cars and lots of laughs

    Great event 

Nice job on both the driving and the video Big D. I liked it a lot, looks like alot of fun.I hear there's a re-match coming up between New England and N.Y./C.T. soon, maybe we'll see you there, the big OVAL at the Chrysler Prooving Grounds was quite a treat for a Viper.See you soon,Rusty.

FYI - Lime Rock has posted an updated list for their invitational challenge that shows our own ACR Steve at number ONE! (also holds the Track Record!)

Tim is also still in the running for their 2014 championship at #10 and the rest of us have been bumped down some more since their last update.

The Championship takes place mid-November so we'll find out what the deal is for spectators and let everyone know

how crazy was that to watch him bouncing off the rev-limiter in 2nd gear in a space the size of a basketball court haha

proof that a Viper in talented and experienced hands is the ultimate weapon

Nice job Steve, maybe Tim's time will hold up in the top 20 .
    Good luck!

    Dennis
