    Official Exhaust Video Thread

    Hello All,

    I'm wanting to start this thread to hope that people will post videos of their exhaust setup and videos to share. I know it is hard to pick up the true sound of a car through a video, but it should give a decent idea.

    When I bought the car, it had headers, stock cat, stock resonator and rear muffler delete. Here is a picture and video:

    Fast forward about a month and I decided I wanted something louder. I ended up having a shop make a test pipe which I can bolt in the cat/resonator for smog or run the test pipe. In the end, it is CRAZY loud and I know my neighbors are going to hate me so I'm really looking for something to tame it down. I'd love to listen to all of your exhaust setups and have this thread be a sticky for others who are going through the same scenario.

    Please post the setup and then the video. If you have a picture of the setup, even better.

    I bet that noise bouncing off the homes is something to hear. Hope you have some gear heads as neighbors. Sounds great.

    I'd let to hear the second set up you have after the motor warms up and settles into its lumpy idle.

    This is what I am worried about. Whenever I am coming out of the complex or even just out of the garage, the sound is amplified. The car is already loud enough and it is going to draw negative attention from the neighbors. I think for the time being, I'm going to figure out an alternative setup but keep the test pipes for when I want to swap them back on.

    I'll do it next weekend. It's already 7:40 PM here and I'm sure the neighbors aren't going to like me starting it up haha.

    That straight pipe setup sounds epicly loud! Definitely make one once the idle drops down.

    Here is mine. Belanger headers, no cats, Corsa 3"

    Great clips you guys. Keep them coming!

    I'm going to create a custom setup for mine where I can have 3 setups by just swapping sections of the exhaust:

    Setup #1: Straight pipes
    Setup #2: Borla side muffler
    Setup #3: High flow with borla side muffler

    The side is going to be broken up into two sections where I can interchange the sections, for example:

    Setup #1: Pipe 1 --> Pipe 2
    Setup #2: Pipe 1 --> Borla Muffler
    Setup #3: Cat --> Borla Muffler

    That way, I can swap in and out the cat in setup 2 and 3, or if I want to go straight pipe, just swap in the two pipes. Do you know the part # the borla 2 muffler system uses in the side sills? Is it the XR-1?

    Not sure if you've every seen this before but it's a electronic cutout. I had one on a firebird I had, and was a great way to adjust the noise on the fly. https://www.quicktimeperformance.com

    Posted this a while ago, but this is the exhaust from my car.

    Relevant portion starts around 0:27.

    Setup: Belanger Headers, Belanger exhaust, high-flow cats. It's really, really loud, and it definitely drones except in 6th gear at low RPM. The rumble/cackle is amazing though. I could do high RPM lifts all day and die happy.

    Note that my car is using a stock cam, a difference between some of the others here.

    Do you have headers/cats in your setup or is it stock headers/cats and just the borla mufflers

    Stock headers, cat-less, with Mopar Performance Exhaust (which is the same as the Borla 1's)
