800+hp Shelby Cobra Wrecked During Gumball 3000




When you travel across countries and this year, across continents during the Gumball 3000, some cars will inevitably be a bit worse for wear than when they started. Unfortunately, a stunning 800 hp Shelby Cobra was heavily damaged during the famous annual road rally after crashing.

It remains unclear just how the crash occurred but what is apparent is just how much damage was caused. Following the front-on impact, the two front wheels have been ripped off while the suspension has been completely wrecked. It remains unclear just how much damage was sustained to the engine itself.

Is that a Shelby Cobra or another Kit car? reason I ask is looking at the hood scoop it looks the wrong way around?

Most likely a kit. Doubt someone would vinyl wrap a 7 figure car, but who knows lol.

Looks like fiberglass sticking up from the passenger fender, so it is a kit.

Hope occupants are okay...looks like they were dressed well.

Hope the occupants are ok. As for the car it is definitely a kit; fiberglass body and that is a modern 4.6L engine in what remains of the engine bay.
