I keep a cheap, Harbor Freight Centrex reader in our cars. It lists for about $59.00, but is often on sale for $44.00...It can read and clear OBD II codes on every type car that I have tried it on...including all Vipers 1996 thru 2014.

If you're just looking to pull codes, the Harbor Freight reader is a great budget friendly option.

just buy the bluetooth one on amazon for 12$ and buy the torque app in google apps for 5$. It works perfect for my Gen3 Viper
