    Smile exhaust upgrade

What can I expect to pay for an upgraded exhaust system for my 98 rt/10. I know, there are different set ups, but a ballpark figure would be helpful to know.

I believe for a cat back system its about 1000 to $2000 give or take. Really depends what you want. Headers, cats and so on will be more. I would just call Parts rack and talk to Jon. I bought Corsa for my gen 2 and was impressed with sound and fit.

Are you primarily concerned with power or sound? If power, you can easily spend a few grand on parts. If you just want more sound, the cats and/or mufflers can be deleted for a few hundred bucks.

Still believe taking off cats is not a great idea , as it is getting more and more difficult to get cars okayed in many States without them. There are better options and even hi-flows make more sense than a delete situation, imho.

I agree but, the sound difference with and without cats is drastic. If you love the sound and want slight more HP then cats off. If your concerned about emissions and smell then high flow cats for sure.

I have a set of used headers and a new Borla catback setup I will sell for $1950 shipped to you door if you are east of the Mississippi. I like not cats, love the sound and makes it simple to connect the headers to the catback.

I'm a huge fan of Belanger, but it all comes down to the sound you like and the amount of money you want to spend to get there. Don't think you can really go wrong with any of the above mentioned brands. Maybe wait for a deal in the classifieds?? And until then just enjoy the fun of researching it

Sound is subjective of course, but may want to think about a B&B on an RT10. I have one on mine and I LOVE the rumble and depth of the B&B. I have a Corsa on my GTS to avoid the drone, but the B&B is my favorite for an RT10 hands down.
