    Some Viper track day photos

Houston VOA club had a great track outing yesterday and had a great collection of cars. Gen 1-5 and just about every model outside of a comp coupe.

Thought you guys would like to see some of these shots.

I need to get some action shots next time.

Video of two laps in the last session, still lots of room for improvement. The cloud of dust you see towards the end of lap one is Mike A

    VERY NICE!

But I thought the VOA was just a "wine and cheese" club? LOL

Well I did bring some string cheese to the track as a snack so the rumors are half true.

We didn't invite the winers and waxers. LOL.

Great time racing, even sweating buckets full.

Averaged 1:49 with best of 1:45 in the '13 Viper. Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
Averaged 1:52 with best of 1:49 in '14 Camaro SS 1LE. Stock.

Vid of a 1:49 run, with my wife riding passenger.

Can't wait to go back. Might try Hoosiers next time, I think I am ready for some grip.

You drove these wheels off both of those cars. I'll look at the calendar and see if I can get another day scheduled for us.

No that's Tony and Lisa Whatleys car she was the last car behind that instructor. That was one of the early lead follow laps for the novice group.

That being said there was one modded ZL1 that was running faster than I by a second or two but he does have a little more experience than I do. By the 4th session I don't think he would have gotten by me, at least I hope not. Tony did run a 1:51 in that white camaro though which was faster then everyone in the novice group for the day.

    lol. Tony was fast.

I had a best of a 148.52, a couple of 149.64-77, and a slow ass average of 150-151's after 3, 16 minute sessions. 1st time on the track and 1st time with this car. It can only get better . I'm going to use up these 4 yr old cups that came with the car and then get some stickies.

Hey, why don't we just combine the 3 different threads we have running about the same thing?

Well I put this one in General so other Viper dudes could see all of the different gens of cars. Didn't want it buried in the Houston section, the photos and videos were too fun.

Also figured the original organizing thread was going away so started a media thread; post event. My mistake most people just posted to the original thread.

We can gladly combine them all I don't care.
