2008 Coupe at the track - Gingerman

Got the Viper down to Gingerman Monday to stretch it's leg a bit. We rent this track and Grattan here in MI privately and have a little fun once or twice a month. I did a lot to the car over the winter so it was nice to see how everything came together. The car just seems to always amaze me. I had the car torn down in pieces in my garage for the full belanger, BC suspension and ACR conversion. Decided to do this all at once which seemed extensive but turned out to be quite easy and quick. I have been tweaking the car here an there for the past few weeks with only minor adjustments needed. I'm extremely impressed with the car and the mods. The belanger full exhaust really woke the car up and there is an amazing power change. The ACR stuff creates amazing downforce that helps make the car much easier to drive on the track. I decided to go "cheap" on the suspension with plans of Motons when some more cash came in and to be honest I have no plans for motons in the near future. This BC stuff is really amazing for my driving level and until I improve my skills these will be just fine. This car is an animal and its great to finally have it to a point which seems a bit more tamed.

Also the car is for sale if anyone is interested. I reduced the price to $55K as I do have my eyes on another ride. If the car doesn't sell soon I guess I will have more fun and pictures to post!

Gingerman is the only track I've ever been on - got to do it as a part of a Car & Driver article with my RX-8. Was tons of fun! That's very cool - love that last pic.
