WAZE group for Tail of Dragon

Anybody use WAZE (GPS) out there on their phone? I've setup a group called "VOA Tail of the Dragon" Might be fun or helpful during the event. Never used a WAZE group before. Someone want to try and join it and let me know...thanks!

I use Waze. The group search isn't finding your group.

I went ahead and tried to create a new group with the same name that you used. It let me do so. Not sure. Can someone try to join it?

After looking at thge app it says you can old join a group if you are within 62 miles of where it was created.

Ah, thanks Bob...so maybe it's not good for doing ahead of time. We'll all have to wait till we're packed in close I guess! We'll see what happens in two weeks...

Hey I don't know if this will help but, I was looking for an app the could help everyone communicate when going to NVE and was playing around with an app called "Zello". It's like a walkie talkie / netxel direct connect that works on iPhone, android, blackberry, and PC platforms. it's free and we can setup private channels with a password. Only thing is if you don't have an unlimited data plan you'll have to keep that in mind. Could be a great way to test it out before NVE. Hope everyone has a fun safe trip.
