If it is a gen1 I have only found one source with the correct bend. Let me know if you need info.

I ordered hoses from Viper Parts of America three years ago. I had the work done by a Viper tech in Portland, OR. The top radiator hose was bent the wrong way and rubbed on the hood spring coil on the driver's side. The tech ordered another hose from Dodge. It was also the wrong bend. The part number for both hoses was the same as specified in the Dodge repair manual.

A few months ago I decided to try to find the correct hose. I ordered one from my local Dodge dealer. When it came in it was just like the other two. I then began talking to other suppliers. Sean at Roe Racing said they had seen this problem before. A couple of other techs told me the same thing. Sean said they had a source for silicone hoses that has the correct bend.

The catch was that Roe has to buy them in complete sets, and the full set for a Gen1 is around $300. I finally quit looking and bought a full set of silicone hoses. The bend is correct on the silicone hose.

You can make the Dodge hose work, but you will have to wrap the hose with something to protect it from rubbing against the spring. If you want to go that route, I have two of the "wrong bend" Dodge hoses that are brand new. I don't remember what they cost, but I will sell you one for half of what I paid for them plus actual shipping. Send me a PM if you want to do so.

I'm still running the incorrect hose on mine. I haven't had time to put the new silicone hose on yet. It seems to be working OK, but I worry about how long it will take to wear through.

Been happy with all their products (also have their power steering bracket, pulley and reservoir).

Buy the hoses through JonB at Partsrack and you get a good deal, plus you build a relationship with a knowledgeable Viper guy.

I bought HPS 3 Ply and they blew less than a year later under acceleration. I was able to tear it afterward with my bare hands.

The reinforcement felt like rotten cotton thread. Go with Jon and get his front license plate holder (don't put it on the Viper unless you want a ticket) -- I've had to use it twice this year.
