1993 seat question

I am having no luck moving my passenger seat. I have it out and the rail is getting stuck on the two ears that are curled out. The seat is set all the way back and only moves forward one click. Anyone got an clue to help solve this? image.jpg

It's meant to be and designed that way.. Gotta love these old gen 1s for what they represent. Twist the tabs if you must.

Thanks for the help. I am putting a roll bar I. And it looks like I will have to adjust or remove the tabs.
