    NVE - Bringing Your Viper?

I'm interested in how many Vipers are likely to be there.

Home coming wouldn't be the same without my Viper !

Sadly no. It's too far to drive and too much to ship.

Here's hoping the next event is more out this way!

Same here. Too far to drive and too much to ship. Next time.

Was going to but booked a flight and decided to just fly out instead. So short answer is "no".

I want to, but unfortunately not going to bring it this time. At least the wife and I will be able to attend :-)

Yes! I'm trailering up from Louisiana along with someone else from the Mid-South region who is also trailering his car.

I had originally planned to drive to Detroit from Washington State. I did the drive to Charlotte which was a whole lot farther. Unfortunately I have some issues with my right leg functioning 100%. I can drive a bit with some very mild pain medication, but I am thinking that driving 10+ hours a day to go to Detroit might be an adventure with a bad leg and pain killers, but not a good idea. We will fly out and get a "hot" rental car to tour with. I hate to show up without my Viper, but I won't miss out on many events as most are not track related. I am still looking forward to the event and hopefully some exciting new announcements about the Dodge Viper Gen V.

    Yes!

The wife and I are leaving Wednesday from Maine for some easy driving days and sight seeing on the way out.

I'll drive it out for you, and I won't even charge you! Just pay for gas, tickets & bail bonds

Thanks but it still needs some work to be confident it would make it there and back.

Would love to drive, but I think I'll be flying in… or at least flying in to a closer city.

The word homecoming should mean just that. Viper coming home to pay respect to its birthplace. Why would you go to this event without the car makes no sense.

I'm driving out, not sure if I will be able to join up with the local crowd for the drive out, but definitely driving.

Hey I agree. But for some of us…. it's about timing. You do the best you can.

    Working with the numbers here:

Assuming 2 tickets for each vote (this assumes an owner is bring a significant other, or a friend) in this poll so far ... 36 X 2 = 72 tickets. Of 500 total tickets 72 tickets represents only 14.4%. But if we get anywhere near the 80% of the ticket holders that this poll indicates will bring their cars, say 60%, there should be on the order of 150 Vipers present. (.6 X 500/2) = 150.

    Won't that be a sight?!

BTW.... I called VOA and asked straight out how many people had indicated in their registration that they were likely to bring their Viper. They said they would get back to me with that number, but I've not heard back from them as of this post. So I'm enjoying speculating. Isn't the internet fun?! HAHAHAHA
