    Powerband question

Does anyone know what causes such a pronounced torque dip between 3700 and 4300 RPMs on these? Is it just weak tuning in that range? I've seen it in other dyno sheets, but none as pronounced as mine. It loses ~25lb/ft at the wheels in that range.

My car is an 02 ACR stock with mufflers and resonators removed. Everything else is stock.

Your car may be detonating or "pinging" in that range. Did you see any puffs of gray smoke or hear any audible knock when it was on the dyno?

Nothing noticeable. The exhaust was echoing and making it pretty loud in there though.

You should try some 100 octane unleaded and dyno again. If the power curve looks better I can provide you with a computer calibration that takes care if that issue with 91 fuel.

Dodge has a service TSB for knock as well, but it does hurt the power.

Thank you for the info. I'll look into that.
