    Custom Gen V wheel help

Im looking to order a set of custom wheels for my Red 2013 viper this week. Couple questions I had.

whos running a 19/20 combo and how do you like the 345/25-toyo tires? What width and offset would you run on a 2013?

Would you do a monoblock forged wheel or a standard 3 piece wheel?

I would be glad to help, and know what fits. I prefer 3-piece, 19/19.

Not sure I've seen 20/21 on a GenV. Saw maybe 1 or 2 on GenIII/GenIV, but that's going pretty big. I run a 20/20 set-up and there are times I wish I had a bit more rubber no matter how great it looks.

Don't forget to factor in the cost of tires for a setup like that. Could get scary, quick!

I have a set of 20/20 HRE P44SCs in Brushed finish on Michelin PSS, have maybe 20 miles on them.

Keep in mind on the wheel sizes and aspect ratios. If you go to a 21 you'll be on rubber bands to keep the overall diameter right.

Also, as you search, keep in mind that a taller tire is the equivalent of shorter gears. In other words it will be like going from a 3.55 to 3.3X ...etc. It will make rev lower, particularly in 6th. If at all possible.... keep the overall tire diameter close to stock and perhaps lower the car to fill the gap.

Is intro bad? Or the 3piece? I liked the idea of being able to do a face in matte black and the lip in gloss black.

They are also one of the only I found with a direction spoke design. Something simple.

Yea the 20/21 I think looks good but not very functional.

I powder coated my stock wheels black for now. Car looks a lot better with that alone.

You should look at buying CDubbs HRE's. They are brand new and would look great. He's local so you could check them out as well.
