Andy, don't start modding until you let us know how the TA does at the drag strip, stock. You might be the only one that owns one that would be willing to drag race. Maybe some Fri we take both cars out?

Sure we can look at a time to head out there. Weather is already getting hot so won't set any records but if your car is there we can atleast benchmark it against yours. The only way you goat me into running in lousy DA is I have a car I can atleast benchmark against. If that's not the case I will wait until the weather cools off again and by that time I will modded.

Tony let me know (honestly) if you want to make a couple pulls against it in the mean time.

Corsa's aired down to 15 psi? Does anybody know if the Gen 5 with stock PCM will go into limp mode or reduced power if the tire pressures recorded drop below a certain level? Obviously this video proves that at least with the new hi-po PCM, this is not an issue.

I ran drag radials without tps and it did not go into limp mode, however, if you are in the staging line and start the car, the tire pressure screen comes on and warns you the tires are low. That does not seem like a big problem, however, the screen stays there for a short time and does not allow you to turn off ESC. I am not sure that same screen will lock out the ESC if the tires are just low, however, it will not go into limp

Even that's not "that" good. I've run in -1800 DA at Cecil County raceway and -1600 at MIR when I lived in Maryland. Those record Z06 and ZR1 runs are done in that kind of DA.

When will the tune be released? Any ideas on that at all? Allegedly he had a tune to hit these kind of numbers. I imagine the tune with some minor mods would go a long way in this car.

My launch control sucks. Using the performance 0-60 app I was able to cut .3 tents off my 0-60 time by putting the car into full no nanny mode. I doubt he used that to cut a 1.80 60' on the Corsa's.

Or taking his time to set his own launch RPM properly. I do that often at track rentals. SLowly bring up the RPM's to where I want and then make the pass.
