Awesome! Thanks for the comparison and posting the results.
If I get the Arrow PCM now and then decide to go the supercharger route next year do I need the new PCM or have I just wasted $1100? Thanks
Dan does not have the WiTech connection that is needed for the PCM installation, but he would be the most capable candidate for the H/C installation. BUT the H/C package and PCM will never pass emissions in CA. so unless HPT can crack the codes to allow for a cam swap in the Gen5 and still retain all the needed ready codes not sure it is doable there.
Is it realistic for an individual or small shop to purchase a witech. I have been researching a puchase and there is all kind on conflicting info on the web.
alibaba shows a knock off for $695 and some seem happy with it. The mainstream sites show a $3300 starting point with maintenence fees of approx 2500/year.
What is the real story
I think he was asking about this so they could initialize a new PCM on their own without going to the dealer to do so. Are you saying that you can do this now? If so that will be a huge help to people that are afraid of going to the local dealers for the H/C install.
Thanks Keith!
Andy:
You are going to have mechanical
and oiling issues if you go to an Non-arrow fixed cam. At least with Arrow the cam is kitted wth all parts for the install.
Another issue is the fuel pump, the oem pump will not take you over 700 hp for all conditions, again, the Arrow kit takes care of that.
Mark,
You had mentioned the warranty would still be honored, is that the case with the ECU alone?
Any more details on the warranty status with any of these packages?
Thanks
Question I just drove back from the Dealership with the new PCM installed. I am getting a lot of loading up at low RPM'S driving through town. It loads up and I have rev it up a bit to clear it out. Any advise would be helpful.
Thanks

Mark
Will this self correct after I put more miles on the car?
In the post above, I suspect that Mark meant to say "idle hot for 3 minutes with the A/C ON and then 3 more minutes with the A/C off..."
