Just released off-road PCM for Gen V

Great news about the much needed off-road PCM for the GenV cars, it is VERY close, as are other possibilities for power from a trusted source. You can get on the list I have going if you are wanting one of the PCM's, I ordered 20 of them and have 12 left at this moment. I will not post pricing at this time, but I think you will be happy with it.

Awesome...can't wait to see what these guys can put down with headers with this PCM.

Were they willing to provide a list of the things it will do (like bump up the RPMs, idle speed, etc.) like they did with the Gen IV Mopar PCM?

I feel a lot of CC's are about to get a workout

Can it provide more headroom? lol, sorry.

Awesome that this news is finally leaking out, should make a ton of folks very happy. It should come with a clause that if you buy one & mod, then you MUST dyno & post results here. ;-)

Who would take a GenV Viper off-road? I'm sure none of you would use that PCM for street use. ; )

I will do back to back on the same dyno I made all of my Gen IV pulls on so I can compare it to those as well. I will get a stock number soon. I have a track day this weekend so hopefully it will loosen up a little

Planning on doing just that! That Racing Channel will do a before and after dyno video in stock form. Then add headers, cat back and tune. Intakes will be nice also if I could find some.

Not a better intake out there, headers, high flow cats, or no cats, ECU, Smooth Tubes, Under Drive Pulley, catch can setup as well.

Definetly going cat less. I want to make the most HP possible. I will get with Mark to see what else is out there to put on. It may be a long shot but if it traps close to my old GTR (137mph) I will be very happy.

    Mark,

Will the new PCM likely increase power much on an otherwise stock set-up, or is it more to use in combination with exhaust mods? If so, then please add me to the list. I just plan to keep exhaust stock at the moment.

You will gain a few things that will definitely help performance even on a stock vehicle Bruce, email me mjorgensen@woodhouse.com with your contact info and I'll add you to this list.

    Thanks,

That's the best piece of news for the Gen V since the T/A came out.

Add a 3.73 rear gear and it gets even more "entertaining"

    Maybe :-)

SRT guys like the 4.10 the best though... cruise control will not work with anything deeper then the 3.73.

Especially if the PCM bumps up the rev limiter like it did on the Gen IV.
