Carbon Fiber Stone Guards installed w/ pics Part 2

Finished detailing first fender well....IMG_4510.jpg. So installing the fronts were very easy. the holes lined up great, no probems at all....IMG_4523.jpg and IMG_4524.jpg. As you can see they don't stick out very far at all. They blend well with the rest of the carbon on the ACR. The rears took a little more time. Not to say that they were not made correctly. They just take a little more time because of the body lines. Take your time and start from the middle and work your way out. Tighten them slowly while pushing them "against" the car for a "close" to the body fit....IMG_4529.jpg. The rears are a little larger but not overly done. IMG_4528.jpg. I see what my wife was saying, these are beautiful. I will do another write-up on how these hold up at the end of this summer. These are a little spendy but Im sure they will help save the paint all the way around which will save you ALOT of money on a paint job later.
Diclaimer: Remember, all that was said here is only MY opinion on this product and the way to install. If your wife decides to hang these on the wall or you smash your hand putting these on for some "unknown" reason, DONT SUE ME !!!!!!

I found the exact same thing with mine.
Fronts lined up perfect, rears I used a step bit and opened up the holes and took some time to do. A local had similar gap/issues with the rears on his. I give the fronts an A and the rears a C on fitment.

For my fronts I made ABS lower panels too to try and help keep stones off the rockers. With the car on the ground and wheels installed they are not noticeable unless you look for them. I also placed clear bra down low on the rockers and cut some clear bra and put it between the CF stone guards and the paint on the car to prevent scratching.

Just finished installing these on our ACR. I removed them off our 2008 coupe that we sold last year.

I used a Z shaped screwdriver and didn't even have to take the wheels off.

Now that I have seen this post I am going to make a set of the ABS lower sheets.
