My personal notes show 15 ft lbs. I do not have a manual so no upper and lower limits.

According to the 2014 Viper Service Information CD from Tech Authority, the torque spec for the cross brace ("X-brace") bolts is 20 N.m (15 ft. lbs.).

I would have NEVER guessed a torque value that low to anchor a stressed member.

FWIW, I did 20ftlb on my carbon brace when I installed it... After a few drives it was loose. So yeah, I went with german torque after that.
