I randomly got a CEL for evap. Is there a common problem/fix?
Is there a longer term warranty for emissions that covers it?

The most common reason is a loose gas cap.
I heard a 9L usually fixes that
As you know the Gen 5 filler neck is capless so it is less likely the problem exists there but I guess it could still be a defective flapper valve thingy. The thing that replaces the gas cap. Also check the EVAP line that runs from the driver's side firewall to the front of the engine. It is a 1/2" black plastic line that runs in under the fuse box towards the engine. They melt even on stock cars. With headers or other mods they melt more often. If it melts closed it will be hard to put gas in the car. Either way it might cause the EVAP cell if melted. If it is melted simply use 1/2 gas line to fix it. Run the rubber line BEHIND the fuse box for future protection.
Lol it would be very impressive if a 9L could fix that. Though in hindsight, I don’t know why we didn’t engine swap. I’d sell you my 8000 mile motor and I’d build a 9L (Facepalm).
Thanks, George. I sent her off to get detailed and coated (only took me 2 years). I’ll check that out when I get back. I’m not terribly concerned about it, gotta be something simple.
This seems to be common the fuel we have now. I've seen it on many 2013-2017 Dodge cars.
If you run the car with less than 1/4 tank and do short trips, it tends to set a engine light.
