    Viper R C

Finished up a winter project I wanted to share. Arrma 1/7 Felony 6S BLX, Bittydesign 1/7 VPR body, Pro-Line R888R tires. Painted it myself to match my GTS. Very happy with how it turned out. Should top 80mph as well!

If you’re interested in making a mini-me of your car here’s a link to the car and body:

Nice! I've had a few of the high end Traxxas before, they're fun!

Looks like a lot of time plus effort produced the perfect result. Looks as fast as your Viper!

Very Cool. Way back in the day I had one of the HPI racing nitro cars with a Viper body painted to match the Oreca cars.

Annnnd she’s already damaged haha. I trimmed the front splitter to go under the body, which made it look awesome and have nice wheel gaps. Also made the body the lowest part of the car. First trip down the street and it scraped a manhole cover and chipped a bunch of paint. Oh well, at least I got nice pictures before running it. But, it was made to be driven. Big or little if I have access to it I’ll drive it

That's about how it works haha

I went ahead and ordered a Traxxas UDR after seeing this thread. I missed having one to thrash around with my kiddos.

The Arrma Felony is great because you can get a nice Viper body. For day to day fun with kids, I’m still a monster truck guy. They just take a beating and keep on going. It might be old and obsolete by today’s standards, but my HPI Savage Flux HP is still going like a champ. Hundreds of wicked crashes and all I ever broke was an optionally installed sway bar link. Straight up tank.

I like the trucks as well. Have a Kraton and Notorious, both also take a beating. We also have a couple other brands. Great fun for me and my son.

That's awesome. A couple of years ago I had one of the X0-1s. I thought it would be a blast to have an RC car that went 100mph+...it was cool for about an hour. That thing burns through tires faster than my racecar.
