Running a better clutch, isolating the clutch line from heat, properly purging the clutch hydraulic system of air (difficult on Gen 5's) all help.
Using a proper gear lubricant, as opposed to ATF4 is pretty much mandatory on a track car.
Once you do have an issue, you need to repair the transmission before doing any of the above.
